This work is very close to my heart because my intention with it was to highlight my grandparents and the joining of their two very different personalities. My grandpa met my grandma when he was stationed in Germany in the 1950s. I wanted to showcase my family and what was popular in art history then, so I went with a Jackson Pollock-esque theme surrounding the photo transfer.
